Transition planning, now a familiar part of climate strategy and reporting driven in part by regulation, is helping businesses articulate what it will take to reach their climate targets. Some of the earliest developers are already onto their second iteration - informed now by where progress has been made, where it stalled, and where focus needed to shift.
So what can we learn from them? Across sectors, transition plans are diverging in what they focus on and why. The pressures on a food business aren't the pressures on an energy or heavy industry business, and that shapes where the effort goes.
We'll be joined by speakers from a range of sectors to talk through where their transition planning has led them, why it has taken that shape, and which areas of good practice transfer across.
