EVENT: Thursday 18 September 2025

Does sustainability need a reset?

With sustainability under threat from regulatory roll-back, economic pressures, political headwinds and corporate re-prioritisation, is it time for a reset? We think so – come and join us and many other experts to debate what this looks like, and what is needed to chart a new course.

Join us for our event on Thursday 18 September

From 4pm-6pm, with a drinks reception to follow.
Hosted at The National Theatre Buffini Chao Deck, London SE1 9PX

We believe the headlines on a ‘sustainability recession’ are wrong. Behind the headlines there is something much more important going on: the simple truth is that sustainability has come under pressure because the current approach hasn’t delivered. It is essential that corporate sustainability becomes more business-aligned, to start delivering more impact and solving more problems. We see this as a crucial turning point. If we don’t get this next phase right, then sustainability really could be called out as a failing endeavour.

With all the pressure sustainability is facing, there is an opportunity for corporate sustainability to be recalibrated towards actions that are better targeted, more commercial, and embedded effectively into core business strategies.

We know that others are thinking along these lines too, so we are gathering together leading voices to debate what is needed for a sustainability reset that really works.

We would be delighted if you’d join our upcoming event at the National Theatre in London, for a conversation with sustainability leaders where we’ll discuss the new ways they are finding to integrate sustainability into their businesses. We’ll hear how they are approaching the sustainability reset, and what they see as the critical factors for success.

You’ll leave with ideas and inspiration for navigating the future of corporate sustainability.
