Lost in Translation: The Nature Edition

1 MINUTE READ

When you hear “nature”, what do you think of?

Our research found that amongst key audiences it’s words like “forests”, “wetlands”, and “sea creatures”.

Language that’s evocative, specific and varied.

But right now, many companies are struggling to grapple with “nature” as a concept – it feels huge and nebulous, and in the corporate setting it’s not clear what we mean by nature at all.

The businesses that can bridge the gap to how their audiences feel about nature have a real opportunity for a leadership position and to be able to seize on nature’s uniquely positive positioning to drive action and investment.

Lost In Translation: The Nature Edition is an appendix of Lost in Translation: The Sustainability Language Gap and How to Fix it. It digs specifically into how businesses are talking about nature and how audiences feel about it, and shares findings from our qualitative and quantitative research including practical guidance on how you can bridge the gap.
