We’re delighted to announce that after 5 years of rapid growth, SB+CO will now become part of global sustainability consultancy SLR.
This marks a real milestone in our growth and we are so excited for what’s ahead.
We have been expanding the range and depth of our services to our global client base for a number of years and we see the fit with SLR as being the perfect way to accelerate this process.
SLR’s vision is to become the pre-eminent global pureplay sustainability consultancy – and we believe that the SB+CO team can play a significant role in creating this.
Our aim is to build on our existing strengths, working across sustainability strategy, technical advisory and sustainability communications – from strategy to story. But now, in addition to this, we have a huge range of other experts and technical service areas across the world to help support our clients when needed – from climate science, to circularity, to nature and water experts, supply chain transparency and transformation and all the way through to amazing digital solutions and tools to support making sustainability happen.
By becoming part of SLR Consulting’s Corporate Sustainability team, we'll be right at the heart of a global organisation dedicated solely to corporate and operational sustainability.
Penny Baxter and Nigel Salter remain at the helm and will be joining the SLR Corporate Sustainability Leadership Team. The wider senior leadership team of SB+CO also remains unchanged and we will be serving all our wonderful clients in exactly the same committed, flexible and friendly way as before.
Penny and Nigel said ‘We see SLR as being perfectly suited to serve global clients’ needs across the full spectrum of sustainability challenges – and the idea of helping to build this pureplay global sustainability offer matches our own ambitions and the potential of our fantastic team.’
Over the coming months, we look forward to working more closely with our SLR colleagues, combining our complementary skills, and creating new opportunities to help organisations accelerate their sustainability ambitions.
We’d also like to thank our advisers Waypoint Partners for supporting us through this process.
